We serve as a meeting place and actively participate in local functions.

Donna’s is the proud home of the Kiwanis Club of Madisonville!

logo_kiwanis_seal_blue_rgb_smallKiwanis Club of Madisonville meets each Tuesday at noon in the banquet room upstairs. The Kiwanis Club of Madisonville supports the children and young adults of Madisonville, Monroe County, and the world. Visitors are welcome.

Madisonville Downtown Association got its start at Donna’s and continues to meet here.

Tuesday Night Potluck. Madisonville Presbyterian Church partners with other churches to host a free potluck supper for the hungry every Tuesday at 5 pm in their fellowship hall. Everyone works together for the the greater good of our community. Donna’s donates food and partner churches take turns preparing and serving. Partners include: Buckner United Methodist, First United Methodist of Madisonville, Hiwassee Church of God, St. Joseph the Worker Catholic, Center Presbyterian, Westside Baptist, Rocky Springs Baptist, Journey of Faith Fellowship and The Church of Life.

Branches of Monroe County shelters women and their children fleeing domestic violence. Donna’s has supported their annual fashion show and silent auction fundraiser by helping with food and even modelling!

Casa Monroe (Court Appointed Special Advocates)  helps to ensure that children who were abused or neglected do not receive further abuse at the hands of over-burdened child welfare systems.

Disabled American Veterans Chapter #93 has recognized Donna’s for continous support of our troops and veterans.

Fantasy of Trees is an annual holiday fundraiser of the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Donna’s decorates a tree each Christmas that is auctioned to raise funds to help sick children. The event is held at the Knoxville Convention Center and features many beautifully decorated trees, children’s events, holiday displays, and contests.

Hiwassee College is a great place to continue your education and Donna’s has provided support to volunteers during their annual phone-a-thon which helps raise funds to offset student fees.

Kid’s Wish Network proclaimed Donna’s Old Town Cafe an official “Guardian Angel” for helping to create happy memories, infusing hope and improving the quality of life for thousands of children in need.

Monroe County Beautiful 

Sequoyah Majorettes has been sponsored by Donna’s. The Sequoyah Majorettes is a student group at Sequoyah High School in Madisonville. Among their awards: Regional & State DMA Team Champions. Outstanding DMA Team. Twirltacular Senior Advanced Team Champions.

Shrine Circus has honored Donna’s with the SILVER Ringmaster Award in appreciation for outstanding sponsorship and support of the Shrine Circus.

Donna’s Old Town Cafe has been a frequent supporter of Monroe County Schools as well as a number of local youth sports teams.
